My latest story is about half done, be on the look-out.  I haven’t had much time lately to work on it, with school and all, but it WILL get done.  I am not going to tell you what it is about, as that would ruin the surprise, but I WILL tell you that it has a very good friend of mine in it, who asked to be in a story.  This is in his future.

For all of you who care, I have thought up an idea for a short story.  But, it cannot be conveyed in one story, so I am going to have a series of “episodes”, so to speak, and convey my story over a period of time.  This could probably be compiled into a novel, or a mini-novel, but I have not much interest in writing a book.  Not yet, at least.  I most likely will one day, but that is beside the point.  Anyway, I will try to have one episode out every couple of weeks, if a delay is imminent, I will say so.

I went on a camping trip last weekend, and I lost my notepad there.  Thankfully, a friend found it and will be returning it soon, but until then, I won’t make any progress on my story.  Thanks for being patient.

One of my friends also writes short stories, so I am letting him write on here.  I just ask that he will sign his name after his stories, as his style is a bit different than mine.

A rough draft just popped up in my head for a new story, so I will work on that later.  I haven’t written in a while because I am currently working on a book that I’ve put off for far too long.

I’ve had a thought (amazing, isn’t it) that, since I currently have writer’s block, maybe all my reader(s?) could help me out.  I’ll start by writing the opening sentence, then, just write what you feel should come next.  Please, no obscenities, let’s keep this G rated.  Methinks it should also make sense, we can have twists, but please refrain from putting a cow in space, otherwise, it must have some sort (no matter how small) of a plot.  If it gets turned into a short story, I will make sure to give credit to all who helped.  Not only is this helping me (a LOT), it should also be quite fun to see how creative we are.  Happy writing!
